Hello! 

I am Deborah A. Gaisie, a PhD Candidate in Economics at Georgia State University. I am a Graduate Research Assistant with the Georgia Policy Labs and a 2026/2027 NBER Global Math Talent Graduate Fellow.

My research interests are in labor economics, the economics of education, and their intersection with industrial organisation. My current research focuses on how local changes in the structure of higher education markets affect labor market outcomes and how educational programs and interventions influence educational access and shape student outcomes.
